These ultra-lightweight, high travel barrel springs were engineered with an expanded body diameter for unsurpassed performance. We use barrel springs on most drag racing applications where stored energy is important - by using the barrel design, we are able to use a softer spring without damaging the strut. A major issue we see is racers need to use a soft spring, but it bows and rubs the coilover strut, this spring is the fix.
